Maliha Karimzada is a 20-year-old college student from Alameda, California, with a strong commitment to education, community service, and supporting immigrant communities.

 

After moving to the United States, she became actively involved in helping newly arrived Afghan students improve their English and supporting initiatives for immigrant children and Afghan women. Her dedication to education and service has shaped her passion for creating opportunities for others.

 

She joined Humanity Network for Women because she believes in the power of education to transform lives. Inspired by the organization’s mission and its commitment to Afghan women and girls, she contributes to creating hope, access to learning, and support for those facing barriers to education.
